Montessori Primary Spanish Immersion Lead Teacher in San Francisco, California, US

We are seeking a Spanish-speaking primary teacher to lead a classroom at our beautiful campus. You will guide our students through whole-child development and parents through their Montessori journey. You will also play a key role in helping our assistant teachers flourish. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate Montessorian excited about building relationships with children, parents, and colleagues in a caring community where growth is valued and encouraged.
Our Ideal Candidate:
-has a bachelor’s degree
-has a Montessori diploma for the 3-6 age group
-has several years of experience leading a Montessori classroom (but newer teachers are welcome to apply)
-has a passion for working with this age group
-is fluent in Spanish
-has excellent communication skills and loves to collaborate
-continuously self-reflects and seeks ways to grow as a person and educator
-is excited to help assistant teachers have a helpful onboarding experience and to provide them with continuous guidance
-is eager to help people new to Montessori understand the benefits of Montessori and how Montessori works
-loves exchanging ideas with others so we can all benefit from each other’s strengths and knowledge
What You Can Expect:
-a competitive salary for the San Francisco Bay Area: $55,000 – $61,000/year

Our Hiring Process:

-The steps after we receive an application are an initial 30-minute Zoom call, a written packet, and a Zoom interview (including a mock Montessori lesson) with two members of our team. We also love to have candidates talk with other Mission Montessori teachers and visit our campus when possible.
