Primary, Upper Elementary Teachers in Knoxville, Tennessee

The Knoxville Montessori School is looking for a motivated, experienced individuals with initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to fill the available positions of Primary Lead Teacher and Upper Elementary Lead Teacher.

These are full-time positions in multi-age rooms. The Upper Elementary Classroom will be combined with the Lower Elementary Class for the 2020-2021 school year.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) planning, teaching, and coordinating a Montessori curriculum and schedule consistent with KMS Guidelines and Accreditation. Work days are Monday-Friday during the school calendar year with additional training, staff meetings, and required school events. Current events require preparation during July 2020 for the upcoming fall, including weekly online staff meetings, as well as training specifically designed for opening during a pandemic.

Both positions are full-time, salaried, with benefits.
