Good Shepherd Montessori, Vancouver, WA, seeks Guide and Assistant.

Our well-established, Christian Montessori preschool is accepting applications for Montessori Guide and classroom assistant.  We are looking for an energetic person with a caring, positive manner towards children, families and fellow staff.  Preference is given to applicants able to show their commitment to early childhood education through education or professional experience with verifiable references. Experience with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a plus.

Work hours are weekday mornings and afternoons, approximately following the Evergreen School District calendar.

Requirements

• Satisfactory criminal background clearance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years child care experience or STARS training
• Child CPR/First aid certification
• Able to lift 45 pounds
• Excellent attendance record
• Must be able to meet all state guidelines
