Job Description
The Lead Preschool Teacher must hold a Montessori credential at the level
they are applying for by MACTE/AMS/IMC. The teacher must be a flexible
team member, and have previous experience. Salary is based on
education and experience.
• Be a positive team player.
• Supporting the social emotional work and academic work in the
classroom.
• Leading small group activities with stories, movement, songs, etc.
• Must be enthusiastic and feel at ease with young children.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols while supervising children at
all times.
• Use positive discipline and techniques to help children gain self
discipline.
• Participate in parent teacher conferences and discussions along side
lead teacher.
• Help facilitate the school day for the children.
• Must be soft spoken and flexible
• Can attend and actively participate in professional developments.
• Can communicate and interact regularly and appropriately with
children, staff, and parents.
Company Description
Cattoira Montessori School opened in June of 2002. We are located in
beautiful Miami, Florida. We are an accredited Montessori school from our
Toddler Program through our Upper Elementary Program by the
International Montessori Foundation. Our school is also affiliated with the
American Montessori Society. We have a wonderful school family and are
now seeking a Lead Teacher for our Primary 3-6 classroom.
