Job description:
Starling Montessori School is in search of a Lead Montessori Guide/Teacher for our toddler program for children ages 16 months to 3 years. This is a full time position starting August/September 2024.
Starling Montessori School is a small, family-run school located in the heart of Capitol Hill, in Washington DC. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team. This opportunity is unique as we are looking for a teacher, who wants to grow with us as we build our school. As you will be working closely with the head of school, there are opportunities to learn about program development and administration along side the director!
Our ideal candidate has:
Montessori Diploma (0-3) or in training (MACTE)
Experience working with children
Excellent communication skills
Warm and calm demeanor
