About the Role:

As a Lower Elementary Lead Teacher, you will:
✅ Create & Maintain an Authentic Montessori Classroom – Guide students using
hands-on, individualized instruction tailored to their development.
✅ Support Every Learner – Observe and assess progress, fostering academic and personal
growth.
✅ Cultivate a Respectful & Engaging Environment – Build an inclusive classroom where
independence and collaboration thrive.
✅ Partner with Families – Maintain open communication and build strong home-school
relationships.
✅ Collaborate with a Supportive Team – Work alongside assistant teachers, specialists, and
administrators to ensure student success.
✅ Grow as an Educator – Participate in professional development, school events, and
Montessori training.

What You Bring:

✔️ Required Qualifications:

• MACTE Montessori Certification in Lower Elementary (6-9).
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of Montessori teaching experience.
• Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing, student-centered
approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

✔️ Preferred Qualifications:
• North Carolina Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience in a public or charter Montessori school.
• Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and differentiated
instruction.
