Versailles Montessori School, VMS, has a 2025/2026 and beyond Toddler teacher opening for a caring, detail-oriented, relaxed adult with Montessori certification from a MACTE-accredited institution.

Established in 1987, VMS is a non-profit located on ten beautiful acres of rolling bluegrass in the heart of Kentucky. We have two toddler programs, two primary programs, and an elementary program. School enrollment fluctuates between 90 and 110 students, supported by 17 to 18 staff/administrators. VMS runs a ten-month school year, August through May. VMS administration has Infant/Toddler and Early Childhood Montessori training. Administration and trained head staff make all pedagogical decisions.

Our toddler programs each have 12 children, 15m–36m, with a trained teacher and two assistants. The rooms have natural light, immediate access to the outdoors, an outdoor garden, and a covered porch. They contain everything needed to successfully support our toddler students and plenty of storage space.

VMS offers health/vision/dental/life insurance, HSA, and 403B retirement programs. Staff children attend at half tuition pricing. A 12-month salary is commensurate with experience. Versailles is 15 minutes west of Lexington and 45 minutes east of Louisville. A wide variety of cultural and sporting activities are easily available, and convenient rural and urban housing is available. Bluegrass Airport is 10 minutes from the school.
