We are looking for an experienced educator to join our school for the 2024-2025 school year. Each teacher is expected to work collaboratively with all staff, setting an example for students. Teachers also promote and encourage the emotional, social and cognitive well-being of students, while maintaining a Montessori environment.
As our Upper Elementary teacher, you would be tasked with all classroom responsibilities, including lesson presentations, record keeping, communication with parents, and administrative duties pertinent to your class. Our entire faculty works together to create an environment that aligns with the Montessori pedagogy. All of our teachers are required to attend regularly scheduled meetings, school events, and contribute to a positive school culture.
As SMS looks ahead, we are seeking dedicated individuals to grow with us and build our Upper Elementary program. We are looking for a candidate who is innovative, flexible and has a strong understanding of the Montessori pedagogy.
