Upper Primary/Elementary Montessori Teachers (cycle 3)

Jakarta Montessori School is currently seeking experienced Montessori qualified Upper Elementary (9-12) guides for the 2020-2021 school year.

Founded in 1986, Jakarta Montessori School (JMS) is a not-for-profit Montessori school for children ages 0 – 12 years from Indonesia and many other countries worldwide. We have a working relationship with The Montessori Foundation in USA and are accredited by the Montessori Evaluation and Accreditation Board of the UK and have received Akreditasi A for all levels from the Badan Akreditasi Nasional, Indonesia. We follow a Montessori curriculum at all levels throughout the school.

JMS is currently situated in a green area of South Jakarta and has a student body of just over 130 students with a strategic plan to expand into Montessori Secondary and a student body of around 300. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree or higher
• Montessori Diploma for the Elementary II level
• Minimum 5 years teaching experience preferably in Montessori 
• Possess good written and verbal English language proficiency
• Possess good computer literacy (Microsoft Office software).
• Possess communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively liaise with students and other parties.
